Here is just a brief introduction to the basic Python 3.x scripts to get a token list, the type-token ratio, a frequency profile and unique token lists from a set of documents. We presuppose that you have some common OS on your computer, some version of Python 3.x installed, and that you have access to a command line tool.

R on the computers in the PrayH 205 open lab

The open lab in PrayH 205 has R installed on them (and I assume Python as well). This is the place, where you can use it, outside of our course lab. We’ll make sure that maybe on the long run the Python R interface is working too, as well as all the R modules that we might want to use.
